Alexander Fedorov

Born in Cheboksary in 1979.
  
Graduated from Cheboksary Art College (painting department) in 1999 and then in 2005 from Saint Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin (graphic art faculty, easel graphic art studio under Professor Vladimir Vetrogonsky).
  
Works in the techniques of lithography and etching. Participant in the authorial projects of Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Oleg Yakhnin – Hope and the International Biennales and Triennales of Graphic Art in Saint Petersburg; the Spring and Autumn seasonal exhibitions of the Saint Petersburg Artists’ Union, the Artists’ Union of Chuvashia and other exhibitions in Russian and abroad, including more than 10 personal ones. Awarded a personal grant of President of the Chuvash Republic Nikolai Fedorov (2006) and grants from the Russian Ministry of Culture (2011, 2014). Member of the Saint Petersburg Artists’ Union since 2010. Made an Honoured Artist of the Chuvash Republic in 2012.
  
His works can be found in the State Hermitage, Chuvash State Art Museum and Chuvash National Museum, both in Cheboksary, Novocheboksary State Art Museum, Kirishi Museum of History and Local Studies in Leningrad Region, and also in private collections in Russia, the UK, Germany, France, Finland, Lebanon, South Korea and China.
